Pricing for hypnotherapy and counselling in Halifax

Price increases with effect from 1st February 2024

I have not increased my charges for the past 4 years, but, I need to do this, because of increased costs, etc. Therefore, I am advising clients that, with effect from 1 February, 2024, my charges will be as follows:

Standard Fees – per 50 minute session

Counselling for adults (individuals)  – standard fee: £60 (50 mins)

Counselling for couples (adults) – standard fee: £70 (50 mins)

Clinical Hypnotherapy – standard  fee: £75 (50 mins)

Payments

Counselling and hypnotherapy sessions must be paid for in advance – preferably by bank transfer (details provided at the time of booking). 

Cancelling appointments

When an appointment is made, this time is reserved exclusively for you. A full 48 hours’ notice is required for cancellation. Therefore, cancellations of less than 48 hours’ notice will incur the full cost.

‘Did not attend’ appointments

In addition, any ‘did not attend’ appointments will also incur the full cost and will be invoiced to the client.

(Please note that a proportion of my fees is invested in clinical supervision, membership of professional bodies, continual training courses and professional development, which is a crucial part of my own commitment to being a professional and ethical therapist).
